SCREEN PRINTING

Screen printing is the process of transferring a stencilled design onto a flat surface using a mesh screen, ink and a squeegee. We will guide you through recreating your design into two colours of water-based screen-printing paints used as ink and printed on paper. Image created by both methods, analogue (direct image-making on mylar) and digital (scanned or photographs images). Not only for beginners but this workshop is also designed for intermediate level participants who need to produce multi-layer prints.

Workshop fee Rp. 500.000

What you receive:

In this workshop, you will be provided with

• one 42 x 30 cm positive film
• 5 prints on non-cotton paper in two colours
• hand out material on the technical knowledge
• technical assistance from our experienced Master Printer
• studio access to use the printing materials, tools and equipment provided to finish your artwork in 4.5 hours
• Snacks, drinks and lunch
